Dear friends,
Some of you are aware we have had challenges in processing our adoption over the past year. It's with a heavy heart that I tell you we received word we will not be able to complete the adoption. It is important to know that the children are healthy and will be fine, however due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to bring them home.
We are heartbroken for our loss, yet we're balancing our sorrow with hope and prayer to find the greater meaning in all of this. We will forever hold a place in our hearts for these beautiful children, and will continue to pray for them.
Through many years of experience and awareness, we are well educated about the perils and risks in an adoption process. With this knowledge, we are doing our best to work through this with faith and grace. We are doing well...and are fortunate to be strengthened by each other and by the love and support from family and friends like you.
Christian and I are processing what our next step will be and will work with our agency to consider our options when we are ready to do so.
