After a very tearful goodbye with the girls, we left for the airport. Thanks to Marla, we had a good ride into NY & we had a smooth check-in & security process. We're now waiting at the gate to board- we expect to board at 10p, and we're off to Dubai. We fly direct to Dubai (15 hours) and then we will arrive at 8:30p Sunday. We leave for Addis on Monday morning, arriving at 11:25a.
I'm so looking forward to sleeping on the plane, it's been a very emotional day. How lucky I am to have my husband and mom by my side!
